THE LATINA EXPERIENCE IN S.T.E.M.

In June of 2013 I had the pleasure of attending i3, a month long research and leadership program housed by the University of Pittsburgh. I was there with 20 other undergraduates with varying interests in information technologies ¹⁾.

At the end of June we were divided into research groups, paired with an academic adviser, and spent the last few days forming a research topic to spend the next year exploring.

The posted designed using this research was represented at the 2015 iConference in newport Beach, CA.
