ABOUT ME.

Millennial something-or-other native North Carolinian currently living in Durham with her husband, her precocious sons, and a rather smarmy cat.

Proud holder of an MLIS from the University of North Carolina at Greensboro. My previous educational experience includes a BA in English Literature and Composition from North Carolina Central University and an Associate in Arts from Durham Technical Community College.

I am excited by the prospect of combining many of my personal philosophies surround information and access with my eventual career. I see my “forever home” in library studies being with a local college or university, and giving strong focus to project management within the library department as well as contributing to the many duties of an academic librarian.

I am a passionate learner, tinkerer, and explorer. I try and split my time between my indoor hobbies (research, composition, design) and outdoor hobbies (gardening, camping, biking).

I have recently taken up the work of chairing various committees and boards in and around my community including my neighborhood's HOA, and one of my city's wonderful farmers' markets.
