STUDENT LEARNING OUTCOMES

Adapted from UNCG's Capstone Guidelines, 2013:

The Capstone serves as a final experience for all students to allow them to reflect on their acquired knowledge, their understanding of how the elements of the program fit together, and their preparation for professional careers. The portfolio should be a reflective representation of the student’s experience in the program and acquired knowledge of the student learning outcomes. The final product should demonstrate the student’s understanding of the stated student learning outcomes and the student’s breadth and depth of knowledge about the theories of library and information science and their application to the student’s specialization.
